Rita's Ice, San Juan City

Trying out another interesting place in the metro : Rita's Ice, America's number one refreshment / ice cream parlor is now in the Philippines in the heart of Greenhills, San Juan City.This is not your regular creamy ice cream. Though they do offer such, what's different about this is underneath the creamy goodness is a thick layer of ice. Not just crushed iced but creamy crushed ice.You get a regular cup for Php130 and a large one for Php160. Expensive you might think. It may just be so but you taste every single cent in a spoonful of goodness.We tried out two of their gelati and a blendini. I recommend the Blendini - ice and custard mixed together, since it melts slower than the gelati - ice with custard on top.For more information, check out their Instagram account.
