Some Hebrew and Finnish in a Card
In this era of text messaging and the internet, postcards may have gone obsolete. Thank God, they have not and they remain to be available, albeit, very few and post offices still cater sending postcards around the globe.
It has been two years since I registered to a website called Postcrossing.com where you can randomly send (and exchange postcards!) from other users within the same or from another country. My count is : 50+ sent, 60 received. I would have had more except that I had to take a year off when I moved to study abroad. Now, I'm back at it and I try to send as much as three postcards at a time per month even if I have the right to send 10 cards all at the same time. In turn, I will get the same number back in return (or sometimes, more!)How does it work? Simple. Register, request for an address and send a postcard! The number of cards you can send goes up the more you successfully send a card. The end-user has to register the postcard ID so the system may recognize it and add it up to your count.I guess the FAQ and About Us of the site may explain it better. Check it out!
