Cravings
Cravings. When you get one, you’re screwed. Especially if you can’t satisfy it right away.
I have had all sorts of cravings, more so now that I’m away from home. The latest: milk tea. The closest one I know of is over a hundred kilometers away, down south in Paris. I honestly won’t take an hour and a half ride to and from there just to purchase a 6 EUR bubble tea. Or would I? Nevertheless, before attempting to do so, I did my little research if there was one café or Asian restaurant in the city of Rouen that serves one.
And then, bam. Found it.
One Sunday afternoon, at about three minutes before 6pm, I blazed out of my room to the nearest bus stop to rush to Couleur Café which is in the other end of the city. Tough luck, on Sundays, buses only pass by every 30 minutes. I happened to miss the last one and had to wait for another thirty minutes to get on one. Which meant I’ll get to the café fifteen minutes before closing time (including walking and searching I had to do after getting down the nearest bus stop). Fortunately, I was able to make it before closing time. Unfortunately, their cut off was 30 minutes before closing.
It’s okay, I can probably wait for another day.
Or not. They’re closed on Mondays.
You can just imagine what my first destination was after class on Tuesday.
Yep.
