I had to go to the nearby post office at Place les Coquets, which is two bus stops from school, today after my morning class. Yesterday, the postman left me a note on my mailbox saying he dropped by but I wasn’t around to pick up my package. S/he did not even attempt to knock on my door! That meant I had to wait another day for the most awaited package to arrive.

My favorite Filipina illustrator, Sheena Loves Sunsets, recently released her first book with her original illustrations and story line and I happen to be one lucky follower to receive one of the first copies of said book. It’s called “Roam” – more on that on her blog. My copy came with postcards + personal dedication! I'm so kilig! This afternoon, amidst the crazy changing weather, I braved the rain, snow, hail, strong winds and bright skies (yes all of these at the same time, well, Normandy) to snap some photos of the book in the city of Rouen (as promised to the artist!). On the way, Bagets and I tried to come up with a translation of the book to French. It proved to be a herculean task. Working on it, though!I’m so excited to take this book during my travels and roam away with it !
