Last days of winter
Spring is here, brighter days ahead. Yesterday, we adjusted our clocks one hour less. Daylight savings has begun, summertime is fast approaching!
The last two weeks have been eventful. The rollercoaster ride continues, but I have to say, I've been better at handling the new events and emotions that come my way compared to my first few weeks. The trick is indeed to take it one step at a time. Moving can be overwhelming, even to a country I've spent a decade studying, observing, analyzing, immersing myself in.
Chronicling more significant occurrences and the mundanes have been a helpful way to process what has been going on. Every day is a new experience. As someone who was previously pre-diagnosed with General Anxiety Disorder (GAD), I finally recognized that I struggle with unknown and unpredictable circumstances quite differently from the average person. Worse, my struggle is internal. Luckily, I was able to work my way through this situation. One of which is being able to express my thoughts and ideas creatively, which has been a consolation.
