Short and particular summer in a Parisian suburb
This year’s summer is going to be particularly shorter than usual because I will soon spend a month-long sojourn away, far away from Europe. So far, it’s in a completely opposite season - winter. For this reason, I filmed a glimpse into the early days of my summer, in our quiet side of a Parisian suburb, when the sun's warmth beckons us to embrace its rays. From the moment I wake up, my day unfolds with a blend of work, indulging in good reads, savoring aromatic coffee, attending appointments, tackling household chores, and relishing every moment to bask in the glorious sunlight - which has become quite a luxury, I've come to know.
It has been three years since I made the life-changing decision to move to France, and each season brings new experiences. Two summers ago, B and I spent five rainy days in Vilnius, and I headed down south in sunny Malaga with D & K for three days. Last summer, I made one of my wildest dreams come true: two weeks of warm Brazilian winter which I’ve been blabing extensively and incessantly for almost a year now. This summer has been calmer than usual, yet an exciting one too! While my choices to spend each season, each year changes constantly, I take comfort in the fact that there are some days where I can anchor myself into my routines and mundane tasks. The clips in this video showcase that exactly.
