First, I know very little of Eastern/Central Europe and I said to myself, why not go explore? As an old college friend of mine was settling in Poland, I said, okay, why not Poland? Except that she isn’t based in Warsaw but further north in Gdansk. That’s reason two. Reason three would be because flights that fly direct Paris – Gdansk were hella expensive, and that to Warsaw was only about 20 EUR. Sweet deal! So I decided to spend the weekend in Warsaw before seeing my friend Jan to her city.
