Half way through March, what has been going on with life lately ? I have my fair share of ups and downs for the past month, it's crazy. I think I'm on the brink of going insane. To prevent any of that, I try to go back to what I find most relaxing and fulfilling : journaling and blogging.

Why I spend my weekends in Paris

There was a time when I was a little bit younger (just a few years back) when I said to myself, “one day, gagawin kong Cubao ang Paris”. Of course, ceci est une caricature. I was exaggerating, obviously. By economic standards, Cubao is not at all comparable to Paris. Maybe to the chaos of it, yes.

Climbing up the bell tower of Rouen's Le Gros Horloge

Someone once asked me: Leni, what's there to see in Rouen? That time, I only knew about the cathedral and that this was the place where Joan of Arc was burnt. So I answered: I heard there's this cathedral. His reply: Leni, what French city does not have a cathedral? Point taken. Ten months later, I'm still discovering what my host city has to offer to have better answers if this question ever come up again.
